Changelog

Pin Conversations in Chat & Test Broadcasts

This week we introduced conversation pinning in chat for follow-ups, expanded support for the Meta Conversions API, test broadcasts before launching, template date filters, manual template sync recovery, localized onboarding, and Shopify authentication.

Featured Highlights

Pin Conversations in Chat for Follow-Ups: You can now pin conversations to the top of your chat list. This allows agents to keep track of high-priority discussions and quickly return to messages that require follow-up.

Expanded Meta Conversions API (CAPI) Support: We have added webhook support and expanded the range of supported events for the Meta Business Messaging Conversions API (CAPI). This allows you to track and report down-funnel customer conversions driven by business messaging directly to Meta.

Broadcasts & Templates

Test Broadcasts Before Launching: Yes, it's finally here! You no longer have to cross your fingers, close your eyes, and pray to the notification gods when blasting out a major broadcast. You can now send a test broadcast to yourself (via UI, API, or MCP) to preview exactly how formatting, variables, and links look before going live to your entire list.

Date Filters for Template Activities: We added date filter controls to the template detail screen. Agents can now filter activity logs for specific date ranges when reviewing the performance and usage history of a WhatsApp message template.

Manual Template Sync Recovery: When triggering a manual template sync, the system now automatically detects and imports any missing Meta-approved templates that were previously not indexed.

Bug Fixes & Other Improvements

  • Onboarding Data Localization: The phone number onboarding flow now includes a localized setup configuration, ensuring data residency preferences are configured correctly during initial connection.
  • Shopify MCP Authentication: Added support for Shopify's MCP authentication flow, simplifying account authentication and authorization for Shopify-connected features.
  • Quick-Reply Button Styling: Unified button appearance and alignment across all message types in the chat window.
  • Real Meta Errors in Onboarding: Surfaced direct, actionable error messages from Meta during phone number onboarding, replacing generic error codes.
  • Dropdown Menu Layout Fix: Fixed a CSS bug that prevented dropdown menus from displaying properly in the chat sidebar after pinning a conversation.
  • Template whitespace safety guard: Added validation to skip nil sibling nodes when pruning whitespace in template fields, resolving a potential sync failure.
