Conversions API (CAPI) Integration & Conversion Tracking

We have launched a full conversion tracking system to connect WhatsApp conversation-level events directly to your marketing attribution. Businesses can now track, measure, and optimize the return on investment of WhatsApp campaigns.

Conversions API (CAPI) Integration & Conversion Tracking

Conversion Tracking Settings: Create one or more conversion events from your account settings (e.g., Lead Capture, Purchase) to define values and currencies, and archive them when no longer needed.

Manual Conversion Tracking: Allow your team members to manually track conversion events from the Chat inbox (mid-chat via chat controls or upon resolution inside the close-conversation dialog) to log conversions in real-time.

AI Chatbots: AI chatbots can directly record conversion events during conversation flows, helping businesses better measure and improve ROI on their advertising spend.

Meta Conversions API (CAPI) Syncing: Supports mapping conversion definitions to Meta Business Messaging event names (e.g., LeadSubmitted, Purchase) and syncing them to Meta’s Conversions API via your WABA-associated dataset. This includes Click-to-WhatsApp attribution fields (like ctwa_clid, action_source: business_messaging, and messaging_channel: whatsapp), enabling better ad targeting and conversion measurement.

Inbox & Agent Experience

Quoted Replies in Chat: Agents can now quote specific messages when replying in the inbox, keeping conversation threads organized and contextual.

Hover over any message and click the "Reply" button to quote a specific message.

The composer displays a preview strip of the quoted message.

Sent replies show a clean, accented quoted bubble in the agent inbox, and the native quote context is delivered directly to the recipient's WhatsApp.

Performance & Integrations

Optimized Media Upload Architecture: Bypassed loading entire media collections into memory when uploading files, reducing upload times from several minutes to seconds for accounts with large media libraries.

Zoho Desk Contact Matching: Optimized Zoho Desk contact lookup workflows to prioritize querying by phone number first and prevent sending redundant contact payloads.

CRM Sync Delay Fix: Resolved an issue where saving internal notes on accounts with active CRM integrations caused background synchronization delays.

Broadcast Upload Fix: Fixed a content-missing error that occurred when uploading media attachments to broadcast campaigns.

Bug Fixes & Improvements

  • Improved Template Message Rendering: Optimized how WhatsApp templates render in the inbox to match native mobile displays and save screen space. Quick replies are smartly grouped under a toggle when templates contain multiple buttons, and template media headers are constrained to prevent feed distortion.
  • Redesigned Internal Notes & Read More Affordance: Replaced the warning-tinted banner for team notes with a right-aligned sticky note card layout, and truncated extremely long template messages in the inbox with a "Read more" link to allow more efficient agent scrolling.
  • Optional Phone Numbers: Phone numbers are now optional when inviting new team members to an account.
